We’re Giulia and Elena - two women from Italy, now based in New York.
We launched Due Lune to share the beauty, craft, and quiet luxury we grew up with - starting with the Friulana style, a classic from our home region.
We take timeless Italian icons and rework them for today - updating the colors, the spirit, and the story to make them resonate across places and lifestyles. It’s our way of bringing the ease and elegance of Italian women to the city we love.
We believe in subtle statements, everyday beauty, versatility, and things that last - not just in form, but in feeling.
This is Italian heritage, remixed.
Rooted in Italy. Reimagined in New York.
Why the Friulana?
Because it’s where we’re from - and where it all began.
The Friulana is the kind of piece that holds memory in every stitch. We grew up seeing them on the feet of women in our hometowns - worn with ease, but never without character.
They’re part of everyday life in Friuli, and part of ours - even now, half a world away.
Choosing it as our first collection felt instinctive. It’s a symbol of our roots, and a reminder that something simple, clever, and beautifully made can travel far.
The perfect introduction to a brand shaped by tradition, and built for what’s next.
A Shared Heritage, A New Chapter
Our Story
Though we met in New York, we share a deep connection to the same Italian region, Friuli, and to the culture that shaped us: one that values quality, quiet confidence, and personal style that lasts.
With different paths but a shared perspective, we created Due Lune to reflect both where we come from and where we are now.
Giulia brings a background in industrial design, brand strategy, and creative direction across fashion, home, and hospitality. Elena draws from years of hands-on experience in construction, education, and spatial design - combining structure with soul.
Each piece is made with care and character - meant to feel expressive, timeless, and distinctly yours.
This is our way of sharing our heritage, our taste, and our version of the American dream - one pair at a time.
